Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe

This is a restaurant that has been on my radar ever since transferring to Chico State. I am a big fan of tea, which is what initially called my attention to Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe. Last weekend, my parents were in town and it seemed like a great place to go with them. I was not sure what to expect in terms of the food they served. Their food menu is relatively small, only having a choice between a bowl, a wrap, or some sides. However, there were many options to choose what you want in your bowl or wrap. This makes the menu very simple but you will most definitely find something that you like. When I went, I got a fusion bowl with fire roasted veggies, seasoned white rice, and creamy teriyaki sauce. It also came with shredded carrots, avocado, cucumber, daikon sprouts, and sesame seeds. It was super flavorful with a definite Asian inspiration. It felt like a really balanced meal, with a lot of vegetables. My mom approved of her fusion bowl, and she is hard to please. I will definitely be back for more combinations. With this kind of place, I like to look at the menu before I come so I can decide what to order and save the stress of deciding in line. Sometimes, a lot of possible combinations can make it hard to order.

It was very fresh and our food was ready in a short amount of time. For those who order hot tea, the staff will bring out a cute tea timer which is one of the funnest parts about having tea here. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting. I would highly recommend Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe to anyone who wants a quick bite that is flavorful but also has fresh vegetables. I will be back again with more friends next time because I know they will like it as much as I did.
